Do we love others? The way that God loves them? Am I willing to sacrifice my own plans and ambitions to serve them? For most of us who are Christians, we want to answer yes to all three of these questions, but if we honestly examine our life, can we?
Is your heart hardened? Do I have my mind set on earthly things? On the face of things these two questions don't seem to be related, but I think that they are. Most of us would say that our hearts aren't hardened against God, but if pressed would admit that we spend a significant amount of time thinking about earthly things.
Have you died today? Obviously I'm not talking about your physical death, since that is a rather terminal condition. But, if you are a Christian, the Bible says that you should be dying daily.
